Gymnopilus luteofolius or aeruginosus??

I recently found what I believed to be Gymnopilus luteofolius. Upon reading up on the ID'ing of Gymnopilus species I found some interesting differences between what I found and the luteofolius description.
Here are the original pictures and description: Fresh:

Dried:

Spore Prints:

Habitat: Wood - Found growing on 2 parallel logs near a lake.
Gills: The gills vary from light yellow (immature specimens) to dark orange when fully mature. (see 2nd dried pic)
Stem: Same color as cap for the most part except lighter. Also staing green. On younger specimens a fibrilose annular ring was present. On older specimens a faint ring of spores could be seen but no evidence of the previous veil.
Cap: Orange with greening spots. Fairly smootm seems it was "rough" when immature. The smaller dried pins were kinda scaly.
Spore print color: Orange
Bruising: Greening on the caps
Location: Seattle, WA (Oct 2007)
What do you guys think? Anyone here ever find both of these species and have some tips on differentiating between them?
(Thanks Workman for your veil tip)

These are Gymnopilus luteofolius. G. aeruginosus has a smoother cap.
