I try to vote more often now than I did before (which is never), but I never believed that "you don't have a right to complain" argument.

Some people just feel that despite how much they read about someone, presidents always break promises and go against their way. it's all smoke and mirrors so some people don't vote because they don't think they'll ever be imformed enough and don't want to contirbute to voting for tthe wrong person. I think that's a totall validm reason not to want to vote.

Fortunately here in Oregon, the voting is a bit different. They don't have polling places. They just mail the ballot to you like they would an absentee voter, and you vote on your own time and mail it in. It's incredibly convenient.

All I was saying is complaining about a process you don't even participate in is pretty pointless, yeah vote for an asshole and then complain he sucks but at least make it an issue whether or not your position will even be a factor, apathy in this area leads us to get what we always got
