Anybody have some good info on growing Mimosa Hostilis?

I'm interested in growing M. Hostilis, but I have no idea what that entails. Am I going to need a humidity chamber? What kind of lighting? How does one harvest the root without destroying the plant? What kind of yields can I expect from a single plant, and how long will it take to reach that point?
I'm really completely clueless on it, but the internet has failed me in this regard. I can't find anything decent on it.

ok, back up for a second. i'm assuming you live in a climate where the temperature never drops below about 40F/5C ? if not, you're going to be a lot better off looking into Acacia obtusifolia. and if it does much freezing in your climate, then you might want to look at Desmanthus leptolobus instead.
now, do you still need cultivation info on Mimosa hostilis?

I dont use a humidity chamber. I also didn't use a legume for the nitrogen fixation to the roots. Mine are doing great under a HPS lamp. after 4 years of growth you can cut out a quarter of the roots pie style and the next year do another quarter and the next another. after 4 years your first section should be ready to harvest again. also I am not sure about the yields yet. I will tell you in 3.5 years but yeah I use pro mix soil and feed liquid nutes every few weeks.

It sounds like indoor growing is not possible then?
A. Obtusifolia is a tree. I don't own my residence, so I'm not going to be living in one place long enough for a tree to become worthwhile.
This is the first I've heard of Desmanthus leptolobus.
It never really drops below 15F here, and very rarely goes under 25F, but it definitely drops below 40F for at least a month or so.

indoor is possible (and cpw1971 can probably tell you anything you need to know about that), but it's not practical.
yes, A. obtusifolia is a tree, but M. hostilis reaches over 10 feet in height as well. i suppose both could be grown in a container and taken with you if you move.
with those temps, Acacia obtusifolia might survive outdoors. D. leptolobus would definitely be a viable option.

If you have big pots you can just pot em up in the fall and bring them back out in the spring and plant them in the ground again. thats what I am doing

Heres a 2 year old Acacia Dealbata that I dug up in the fall and will go back out in the spring....

I have Mimosa Hostilis growing too and Acacia Maidenii but they are only 6 months old so far and 15 inches or so high. Next fall they will be the same size as the Dealbata though.
