Self sufficiency is crucial
    #7630705 - 11/13/07 01:50 PM (16 years, 2 months ago)

Being new to this board, I hope that this isn't a parroting of a previous thread.
After what has been decided in the Netherlands, it is plain that in the near future we will see the further banning of spore sales , especially in the US.
Now is the time to learn from this great resource and to share back what we know.
Then when the day comes that spore sales are banned, then enough of us know how to keep the "microscopic hobby going".
I wish that this was not as likely as it seems, frankly, I am surprised that they did not use the P. FANATICUS fiasco to ramrod a law thru congress to ban them(spore sales)to the general non-research public years ago, thank god and godesses.
Learn all you can, and as importantly share all you can from this great holy community for as long as we can.
Thanks again to the moderators and support people on this board.
You are doing the work of the gods.
Peace to all
Namaste.

I cannot speak for everyone, but since discovering this mystical hobby, my primary objective has been, precisely, self-sufficiency. It is obvious that we are still within the means of free enterprise as far as spore sales are concerned. On the flip side, it is, and has remained obvious that sales of this nature will not be forever tolerated under today's police state. On that note, build your libraries, and when (and if, because the possibility still exists that there might still be an IF) that day comes, we can all sleep comfortably knowing that our favorite strain will never be lost as long as we have anything to do with it. Even so, make sure we keep alive our fsr's, and keep making friends with those whom are willing to trade.
Long live the Shroomery.
NuKe

everyone, even noobs should make at least one spore print. except for the ones who are growing PE because they rarely drop hardly any spores.

don't have to worry about a thing. there will be those of us who take matters into our own hands.

on another note, i got non print producing P.E.'s to burn before getting new strains. so hopefully that molestor uncle sam will keep his fingers off my genetalia.
