so i recently lost all of my jars to the black. i dumped all outside and washed all my clothes and soaked all the jars and lids in a bleach solution including the filter disks.
my question is is it ssafe just to wash all this stuff after a bleach soak and reuse it again including the filter disks which are still soaking by the way.

If your using a pc to sterilise your jars then simply washing them out with dishsoap would be fine. 1.5 hours at 15 psi will pretty much kill anything that might still be alive.

Hmm, are we talking tyvek filters? Or some more sophisticated filter setup? If they're just tyvek, and you have already injected through them, I generally consider those to be compromised, not to be reused. I know some people get away with reusing them, but the micropore tape used to cover injection sites always turns into a mess for me after the pressure cook, and I just generally don't trust stuff with holes in it.
Now, if they're something else with a more self-sealing nature that can be reused, you may be fine. But anything soaked in bleach may start to fall apart, so... you might want to play it safe and scrap them.

I just use soap and water. As said, the PC will nuke the mold spores on the next cycle. RR
