can anyone tell me if these are the goodons?
i found them dumped in a parking lot and also wondered if they would still survive,i dont know how long they were exposed so i thought id try to plant them,do they at least have a chance?
one has a little pup near the base
do i recut the old ends and then skin them about 50 centimetres from the base and keep em in a cupboard for a few week ot just recut the ends and plant as is?

those cacti grow several feet a year when well established. I have seen them overtake sideyards in arizona, and they work pretty well for grafting. nice score.

no one is spreading false information here. the confusion arises because there are both cereus peruvianus & trichoceres peruvianus... the latter is the psychoactive one.
