Does anyone know of any bands or artist that make music that sounds like the music in old commericals. For example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCuqlLq1k7o

That's a tough one, but you can try some Moog synthesizer composers.  It was a revolutionary piece of equipment in the 60's and has left a lasting footprint.

Mort Garson - Ataraxia the Unexplained, Black Mass/Lucifer
Jean-Jacques Perrey - Moog Sensations (the attachment to this post is "Borborygmus" from that album)

I only suggest these because the instrument in that commercial sounds like it is probably a Moog.  Sounds a lot like early video game tunes, which I have a strange fascination with.

Maybe you can find something you like in the collections of midi files for classic systems at vgmusic.com.

Good luck, and if you find anything good please share.

Edit: Also, check out Mark Mothersbaugh's "Music for Insomniaks" albums from the 80's if you can.

Not sure if you're still interested but they specifically have music for commercials at:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00005RVTG/ref=s9_asin_image_1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=0CKEN985EPYYPXQNGT95&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=278240301&pf_rd_i=507846

also, search for Music for TV Dinners
and Alan Hawkshaw.
and Jean Jacques Perrey and
The Bran Flakes
...the Bran Flakes are good!

Not so much commercial-sublimbinal-sound-bites...
(if that's what you're looking for like for a dj set or something...)
but more just upbeat electropop.
