Pack up a bowl that you can kill in one hit. Very simple. No smoke escapes anywhere.
And for fuck's sake a doof isn't gonna help you if your smoking a joint or a blunt. That is common sense.

sploofs work but you should have an open window and a fan to blow the smoke out, if the smoke just lingers in your room it might smell a little. I used to do this all the time. Hot steam in the bathroom will mask the smell with a sploof too.

Yeah well barely any smoke comes off the blunt compared to how much you are actually inhaling, so if you exhale most of the smoke through the sploof it will smell much less.

I'm glad im not the only one here who does that... Quite good I say

Paper towel roll with about 7-8 dryer sheets surrounding some activated carbon and pack 1 hitters. We always called them a "kalamazoo"

The thing is, you shouldn't be smoking a blunt or a joint if you are worried about people finding out that you are smoking. Blunts and joints are both very stinky, and they smell up a whole fucking room, whether using a doof or not.

How the door fits in it's frame and your room shape/window size makes the most difference, i've had people know i'm smoking while leaning out the window and holding the joint at arms length while im not toking on it, in my old house I could smoke up the room and no one would know.

The best way to keep the smell out of your house is to create an airflow in your room going out the window. We did this in my dorm room all the time when I lived there, and never once got caught. I smoked several times per day in the dorms usually, and our CA's were total dicks and would have busted us given the smallest chance.
Get a box fan and stick it in your window, then use pillows, blankets, tape, w/e to make a nice seal around it (basically so the only part you can see out of, or air would be able to get in/out of is the fan). Then turn on the fan (facing out, of course). If you did it right you should be able to go to the door with your lighter and put it around the cracks and clearly see the flame blowing in towards you. This means that air is coming in from the hallway and going out your window. If no air is getting into the hallway, no smell will get out there either. Using a doob tube (our phrase for it) and throwing a towel down in front of the door helps too.
