Crap I have a ton of wet WBS leftover
    #7627107 - 11/12/07 06:10 PM (16 years, 2 months ago)

Well I know it was stupid but whats done is done, I took an entire 8 pound bag and soaked it without measuring out how much I actually needed and know I have enough left for about 36 more 1/2 pints, can I just put this in some old coffee cans and stick it in the fridge til I need it?

I'm not positive but I imagine you might get some stuff growing in there. Probably not the best idea. WBS isn't that expensive anyway. I wouldn't risk it

I did the same thing, soaked and drained, now it's just sitting around. Rather than re-soaking and re-draining, I'm just going to dump it and start over with the right amounts.

Hah, mine is a name of neglect.  It says "I couldn't be bothered thinking".

I've lost two long standing accounts with the shroomery due to the fact I often go off and do other things.  I thought about their names.  Now I figure at some stage the email I used to authenticate this one will be lost too so no point getting too attached.

When you throw it out, you might want to tie it up in a plastic shopping bag or something. When it gets moldy its going to stink like crazy. The extra bag might help contain the stink a bit better. I don't envy the person who has to take that to the curb.  :puke:
