Doesn't look like a cyan to me. The stem shouldn't be hollow.
The good ID info makes up for the low quality pictures.
It's possible that It's a cyan, but It doesn't really look like on though. Once the spore print shows up we can be sure. Cyans typically bruise pretty dark blue, but some reports of them bruise very slightly or not at all. The hollow stem, and the bruising not being present, and the odd shape of it is telling me it's not a cyan though.

Thanks, I try. If you only knew how much i'd like a decent camera
Isn't there something about being able to peel off a thin layer from the cap as well?

Oh believe me, i had an awesome camera, and it got destroyed because i had it on my backpack and threw it out of anger. I then realized my camera was in it, and it was too late. smashed it.
But even if that is a cyan, it doesn't look like it would be too much to trip off of, and most signs point to it being some other mushroom. The stem should definitely not be hollow.
I'm not sure about the cap layer peeling off, Ive never heard that .
Look at the pictures of these cyans in this recent thread. There is hardly any bluing in these ones. If there is any question as to whether that mushroom is identical to these ones, throw it out. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/7619090/an/0/page/0

This really pisses me off. I hate how different sites list different info on THE SAME mushy. I thought cyans didn't have veils but this site shows them http://leda.lycaeum.org/?ID=15541. Does anyone have a link with all the CORRECT info on them?

Really? A psathyrella growing in wood mulch? After it started drying it showed a few zonate bands like foenisecii.
Glad someone recognized the name Rock on.

Yeah, alot of Psaths grow in wood mulch, and they are hygophanous (turn lighter brown when drying), which leads to the zonate bands.
