Cubensis??? I dont know... help
    #7626469 - 11/12/07 04:00 PM (16 years, 2 months ago)

Alright, so i see this batch of mushrooms with yellowish/golden caps... I think, fuck yeah!!! i hit the jackpot!! So i go pick all of them, take them home, thinking that they're Cubensis. and i find some bad news... These mushrooms:

1. Don't bruise blue
2. Don't have a vial on the stem

I dried them out and thought i saw a little blue. But maybe thats just my eyes playing tricks on me... The shrooms do have purple spores and everything about them seems to be on target; just; no bluing, and no vial. If someone could help me out I would be very grateful.. I would like to trip balls but i would like to also not die...heres some pics of them...

well a veil is important in IDing cubensis. The spore print throws me off though.

How big are the mushrooms? what do the gills look like? Is there a nipple cap at all? What was it growing off of?

Well, I found them growing in the forest, just right there in the dirt and leaves. I assume the dirt was pretty fertile. The caps were ohhhh.. on an average, an inch and 1/4 wide.. They had slender/average stems that i could pull apart like string cheese. The gills were greyish, and i noticed a bunch of purple spores that had fallen all over the stems of one of them. The caps were yellow;
more yellow in the middle slowly fading to white towards the edges...
I would post a pick but it just gives the this bull shit box with an X in it. So if you click on this link you can see them...Oh by the way the tops of the caps were pretty slimy on some of the fresh ones....http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewAlbums&friendID=76244954

Well, they're most likely not cubensis, as they very rarely grow in the woods (the only wood-cubensis finds I know of are either in the direct vicinity of pastures or the result of successful outdoor projects). And since they don't blue, they certainly aren't cyans either, so you can safely assume that you have nothing active there.

The link to your pics doesn't work, I get redirected to myspace.com. Upload your pics on photobucket.com and use the forum tag provided there to insert your pic into a post.

If your looking for drugs that are the equivalent to a felony, dont post the pictures on your myspace. Plus you didnt read the rules... AGAIN.... so go read the rules.

They are not cubes.
