Very nice! Do you think #1 is in the stropharia genus? I could just sit here all day and look at your random finds, 'specially when there's been nothing around here to look at all year

I think the first is Stropharia like you say LL, honeys in the bowl, and Lepista nuda as the last one? Have to wait for the oracle of george for confirmation. And I agree, with nothing growing around here (except the occasional weilii ), georgeM is keeping us going.

Thank yous all... it has been pretty dry here the past couple weeks.
The little brown mushrooms at the top produced little rusty brown spore prints... I think they are Tubaria.
Second mushroom is Leucoagaricus naucinus.
I don't currently have the chemical needed to differentiate between Lyophyllum decastes and Clitocybe dilatata, however I'm leaning toward C. dilatata for number three. Hopefully within a week or so I'll pester someone for a vile of acetocarmine or go buy the ingredients to mix it up at home. Both options are equally enjoyable... meaning the options for procuring the chemical.... the two mushroom options are not equals, with one being a tasty edible upon which has been bestowed a common epithet that that refers to fried poultry (the whole chicken thing as a descriptive device among mushrooms is a bit tired IMO) and the other being a nasty poisoner.
Then delicious honeys and blewits.... I guess they are delicious anyway... About a month after the spring equinox my ability to taste anything other than wine, rum, cigarettes, and coffee is severely limited. Listerine is a flavor which is also easily detected in the winter months, it's vaguely festive!
