i've read that plants respond to positive or negative vibrations accordingly. i was wondering if this applies to fungus as well. this is my first grow and all is going well so far. i was wondering if it would be worth my time to maybe sit with my cakes and meditate. try to emit a positive energy field to help push them along. anyone heard of this working or maybe direct me to more posts about it. and yes i already used the search option....couldn't find anything relavant.

Dude, whatever floats you're boat...
You could just get crazy with the hobby and "learn" how to grow some awesome boomer's.

hahah this has been touched on before, typing your thread title into the search engine would bring up MANY results on it.
THe subject is interesting to me though, because I know for a fact it works for photosynthesis loving plants. Who knows, mush is a living thing, i think it may like being pet and talked to also!
I know one grow, I was having a lot of problems personally, and i didn't get pins until I chilled out and quit cussing everytime I checked my closets.
when i chilled out, the colonies gave me fruits!.

You know... I almost wish you HAD to do that in order to get a beautiful grow. That would eliminate a lot of people who partake in this hobby for wrongful reasons. I wish the mushrooms could sense the purpose you intend on using them for lol. As for the vibrations, it could do nothing more than have good effects. Watch this video here. It's from What the Bleep Down the Rabbit Hole. The entire video is VERY much worth watching...
Since mycelium and mushrooms are made up of A LOT of water, I believe any good vibrations sent their way will help them out. Also, the fact of your intent of meditating with the mushrooms will benefit them. It's the law of attraction. If you ever get a chance to watch a video called "The Secret", it will be well worth your time

I don't see how it would hurt either your project... Or you personally. Think about how green this planet might be if people got over themselves ha ha ha. The one thing I notice... Is the only time I ever worried about my project, I got cobweb... It couldn't have been that I used OLD casing or that I had the stuff growing in my humidifiers ha ha ha I say go for it.. Worst that can happen is YOU become a more positive person from it
