Weird effects of LSD

The other day around 2 p.m. I took two doses. The time I tripped before that I only took one of the same dosage with an interval of three weeks between the trips and that one hit lasted me for 12 hours. This time around, with no other variable really having changed that much, other than my mental state, I took double the dosage and didn't really trip out that hard at all. For the first 4-5 hours, I was tripping, but to be honest I've had more intense trips off of one gram of pans cyans than these two doses. However, I personally attest to the quality and keeping of these doses, I've had them before and they were sweet. I'm wondering if its my own brain that is so in touch with the signal that prevents me from feeling the full effects or what? I've heard stories of yogis and very spiritual monks that were given lsd with no significant effects, and I heard like 600-900 mgs. Anybody speculations?

Had someone taken anything else close to this LSD? Perhaps any mushrooms in the days before?

no, I hadn't tripped in about 2-3 weeks. I do smoke some nice budz though As to anyone else having tested the doses, yes, and whereas the dose only lasted me like 8-9 hours, it lasted my friends a full 12-13.
Unless you consider achieving transcendental states through meditation a form of tripping, which would be true if reversed. I went on a far out guided journey meditation for a class of mine and experienced a duality of my body and experience, and after this subsided, the drum beat in the background slowed down, the intervals between the beats lengthened...I revealed to myself under the influence of no drugs the illusion of time and space.
I have also experieced deja vu three times now in the past week. Twice before dosing and once right before I went to bed, 10 hours after ingestion. I also had my chakras unblocked my an old buddhist friend/mentor of mine.

Did you possibly expose it to excessive amounts of heat and light by mistake?

yay, I dont like cid. I took two hits and didn't trip at all. I had zero visuals just that kind of transcendental mindset that comes with a very threshold type dose. It wasnt the acid either because I got some more months later from a completley different source and still I had no trip. I think I will just stick to cubensis they are teh bestist!:D

You can't say you don't like acid until you really have tripped on it. It's weird though you haven't tripped on two different patches.

maybe you still got a little tolerance or the psychedelic state from your earlier doses is still lingering in your head a bit?
Or was your set/setting different both times? Acid always feels a lot stronger to me when im in public

State of mind is of tremendous importance.
I've found that the "trip" is really just the peak, and subsequent ripples of the peak.
If you have an intense, thought-provoking peak, it can last throughout the entire trip. This is an ideal LSD experience and involves the mind being completely stimulated and open throughout.
If your peak is tempered, for example by you being very tired or not in the right mood, the trip will be less like 12 hours of mind-expanding godliness and more like 4 or 5 hours of intense weirdness followed by a few hours of discombobulated buzz.
It all depends on how you approach the peak, whether you flow with it or reject it. I know I still reject it sometimes, and I doubt there are many acid users who don't at least occasionally. It probably happens more to people like me, who occasionally indulge in frequent dosage (I tripped last night AND the Saturday before that). But up to a certain point it has a lot less to do with tolerance and more to do with your state of mind; last night, when my tolerance should be pretty high, I had a more intense, thought-provoking trip off three hits than I did a week ago on five hits. Acid is really funny that way, the "power" rests far more with how you approach it than with actual dosage or physical factors.
At least, that's my experience. Anybody else get what I'm trying to say?

he said he waited 3 weeks. theres no tolerance. even if you take 2 hits of lsd one day, and 2 more the next, you'll still trip the 2nd day, just not as hard, and spaced at least 7 days apart the tolerance is almost unnoticable.
my 2 cents? sheets are sometimes layed unevenly, and its not unheard of for hits that are even right next to each to vary in potency from time to time. the person laying the sheet might not of let the crystal dissolve fully and a nice chunk might have saturated into one of part of the sheet and the rest of the sheet didnt get as much. or after it was layed, it might of been hung to dry causing some of the solution to run down the sheet towards the ground thus causing the hits towards the bottom to be more saturated.
also, lsd as with most psychadelics can be unpredictible. personally theres been times where i've taken 2 hits of amazing stuff and tripped face, then 2-3 weeks later taken only 1 hit of the same exact batch and tripped just as hard. sometimes tripping "harder" doesnt need more of the chemical to happen. for instance, take 3 hits of some gooood L, and hang out with friends, talk, watch tv, listen to music. sure while this is all going on the visuals will be very intense and all, but since your doing stuff like watching tv or keeping active in conversations it'll keep you grounded.
whereas try taking 1 hit of the same stuff, and spending the time by yourself, or if you are around ppl, keep music on and shut your eyes, dont speak, let yourself become ungrounded in reality and you'll see the trip will seem alot deeper and stronger, even though the visuals may not be as "intense".
sorry, i kinda rambled, but those are my thoughts, hope they help.

i can dose, and then a week later dose again and notice a slight lack of power the second time. This has happened more than once. However, this might just be due to the fact that my previous trip is still fresh in my memory, so the second dose has a feeling of familiarity....and thus lacks some of the NEWNESS/NOVELTY of the experience that i got the time before. I dont know if that made any sense.

I usually like to wait 2 or 3 weeks in between trips, when I do it too often it loses a little of the magic.
