How do you guys eat your tunafish? I love tuna fish with chopped celery, chopped onion and a generous amount of mayo on Rye bread cuz that's my favorite kind of bread.

How about you guys? Any variations? I also like to add some garlic powder and cayenne pepper. Sometimes I'll sub in red bell peppers for the celery and think that's really good too.

Some thinly sliced sweet onion would probably be great on a tunafish sandwich as well.

Man, you shouldn't put your tuna in soy sauce, kill the flavor that way...And I'm talking about tunafish here, not tuna fish, see?

this is choice.

however when regarding tuna in the can. i cannot stand celery or onions in it. i like lots of mayo, salt, pepper and some garlic powder. sometimes a slice of tomato is right as rain

They sell the stuff in foil packs right next to the canned stuff.. in my experience it always tastes fresher and better than the canned stuff. I discovered it when looking for lightweight backpacking food, since cans just wont do. It costs like, 20 cents more or something.

Snoot... I love me some fresh tuna filets  :drooling:

I too take a lot of tunafish on float trips, mostly cuz I hate salmon. Anyway as odd as it sounds taco season in your tuna mix works surprisingly well.

Those of you that hate canned tuna: I hope you aren't eating light tuna, which is pure vomit compared to white tuna.

I like to prepare tuna salad like this:

Combine:

Solid white tuna
Baby spinach leaves
Italian dressing
Red onion
Celery
Lemon juice
Salt and pepper
