Maybe its just cause Im a real lightweight smoker or maybe Im just smokin too much at once but I get these horrible crashes the next day, I get deppressed and neurotic and tell myself ill never smoke again, etc, etc, is there any way to counter this or will it go away with time.

You could try not smoking so much weed, perhaps. I've had phases during which every time I smoked weed I'd just get very paranoid, then feel terrible the next day.
Take a break for a couple of weeks, then start again but using the drug in moderation.

I got the occasional bum trip in the first month or so I smoked. Paranoia, insecurity, etc.
I've been smoking almost every day since I started two years ago and that just doesn't happen to me anymore.

if you are feeling guilty, then I would suggest it has less to do with the weed, and more to do with your belief system.

I get the same thing because I am a casual smoker. But when I use to do it every night...I had none of this. If you smoke often your body will get use to it and you won't have the after effects for longer then an hour.

Nope doesnt have anything to do with my belief system its more like part of the crash, I think all I needed to do is to take a more moderate dose, the last couple of times I was really pushing it, I just smoked about half of what I did last time, Im still stoned as fuck but I feel a lot better with this amount or maybe its just because I downed 2000g of taurine 164g of caffeine, yeah I guess its just cause I was smoking too much, this is a lot better than last time.

Weed is quite psychedelic in its own way. Maybe you smoked in a bad setting or state of mind last time?

what is this "guilt trip" you speak of? don't think i've ever had a problem with that...

i don't know man, i had been smoking every night for the ;ast couple of months because it helped me sleep (i've always had problems with sleep ever since i was very young), i would sleep like a baby after a toke late at night. last weekend i ran out for the first time in months, at first i thought i wasn't gonna be able to sleep or i would feel crappy and tired all day but i haven't. during the whole week i never felt any kind of need to smoke, i fell asleep ok (not as easily as after having a few tokes but definitely better than a few years ago), no cravings at all.
perhaps you were just smoking too much or something.

I would get this in the early days of smoking bud when i didnt know to much about it and shit. It was more of the whole new idea of "doing a drug" type thing for me so i would get that guilty feeling the next day. But now its more of just a "smoking some bud" type thing. Its hard to explain, but i think i know what you mean. I think that over time that "guilt" trip goes away.
I dont know how much sense i just made, im still kinda fryin on cid.

I got these when I first started smoking. take a break for now.
and set & setting for pot is very important for users like you and me. Smoke with people you're comfortable with and when you're already feeling fine.

I know exactly what you mean. If I don't have a great time while smoking, the next day will be kinda shitty at first. But if I have a really great time and its everything I wanted it to be then I wake up the next morning feeling great.
