You'll probably be fine. Can you post some pics of them? Next time be sure to let the cakes colonize fully, and then wait at least another 3-4 days before fruiting.

You're good to go bro! On your next cakes, do some research on the dunk n roll tek, it will greatly improve your pinset and flush. Good luck man!

I love the "what is the worst that can happen?" question...
well the worst thing that could happen would be that the mushrooms are infected with some sort of mold or bacteria that will slowly eat away at your immune system until your liver fails and you go into shock, at this time you will probably be rushed to a hospital where they will have to hook you up to a dialysis machine and you will have to describe your hobby. Then the doctors will pump you full of anti fungal and anti bacterial drugs to hopefully cleanse your compromised body. They will not succeed and you will slowly waste away to a skinny shadow of a person. Your family will be saddled with the immense medical bills that keep you alive, and eventually you will lapse into a coma and then death. The Police will then raid your home and involve all of your friends and family in a sick plot to kill you, and grow mushrooms on a large scale. they will all face large amounts of prison time, and some will eventually get aids.
Having said that, you'll probably be fine.
