it's like the pixels on your computer. when you are looking at a screen image or movie, about 10% of the energy possible is being used. 100% would be full white. 10% is about right for natural details and flow of life. the curious thing is how each moment or image is unique, and even more curious is how they are holographically linked by moments and similarities for recall later.

Really now, the real question is, "which 10% do you use"?

93 In my experience, it seems more likely that humans use 1% of their brain power and 9% of other peoples'. 93 93/93

My two cents--the 10% thing is meaningless because the terms aren't defined. What does "use" mean? How does one use one's brain. Might the brain be using us? Are we "using" the automatic parts, like the brain stem, which keeps us breathing?
Also, the guy from that cannabis magazine site equates spiritual development with brain power, but when you scan an accomplished meditator, it actually shows their brain shutting down (at least, the parts that tell you "who you are" and "what is going on." Kinda speaks to the whole Huxley "your brain is a reducing valve" kind of thing. If you're brain is oversimplifying things, and telling you that you're this person, when in reality you're a piece of God, then wouldn't powering the brain more just get you more lost in the dream of thought?
