an amazing description of a trip

unfortunatly this trip is not mine, because i have yet to trip although it made me really damn excited for my trip. (hopefully this weekend, definitally this month..i hope)
My friend told me that his first trip on mushrooms felt as though it moved in stages.
the first stage was the beginning of life to him. he loved to explore things more deeply and learn new things.
the next stage he started to think about relationships. he also had sex with his girl... he said he felt mature.
and the last stage he told me about was that he felt very old. and that all he wanted to do in this stage was look at the stars.
then he told me when i tripped to look at the stars. i asked him what it was like, and he told me it was far too amazing to describe.
so grab some shrooms and look at the stars guys and gals!

Dose enough and you don't just "look" at the sky... You can play with it.

Most trips progress like that, or at least for me. You start out as a child and end up as a master, or at least temporarily.
I have always wanted to look at stars while on shrooms, but have never actually done so. I dunno why.

Shrooms always make me feel so terribly insignificant and small on the comedown, and I can't help but sit through it outside under a tree, smoking a cigarette and looking up in awe of the world around us that we take for granted.. It's all the little things you never really think about that become so wonderful, like how green the trees are, or the way a cloud rolls lazily across the sky in the wind, or the cool, light kiss of a good breeze.
It's enough to make me tear up sometimes, to think that I can go about my life most of the time forgetting about all the little things like that that truly make life beautiful. It's also definitely the feeling I need sometimes to remind me of the way life is really supposed to be, that I need to take a step back from the constant stress and go-go-go attitude of the "real world" for a second and appreciate life in its most raw and primal form.

wow, you wrote that pretty powerfully. nice job!
anyway i've been kind of trying to learn to enjoy those things myself as well..
i've noticed that in very emotionally stressful situations.. when everything feels like it can't get better
the feeling of the carpet on my feet is suddenly apparant and a nice walk in the fresh air can help to clear the mind. everything just becomes all about the little things.. i take my time to feel better and then jump back into the race headfirst.

Believe me, when you finally do have your first experience, as you sit glowing on the comedown, you'll most likely just sit open-mouthed saying to yourself, "Wow."
It's like everything just becomes so obvious and apparent. Life is everywhere, and you really feel connected as things wrap up. Don't be surprised if you start seeing how fake the supposed "real world" is. A lot of things only exist in society because we say they do.
Just have fun, and I hope you find the beauty in life you're looking for to keep your spark of happiness burning strong.

i whole heartedly agree. trips are amazing, they change your life theyre so amazing. some of the best days of my life where spent tripping with some good friends, it really makes you appreciate whats good and important in life.
it also makes you feel sorry for everyone who goes rushing about there lives, not enjoying it. whats the point huh?
plus.. being in hysterics for 6 hours (and watching YOURSELF in 3rd person) is one of the coolest things ever too
