first flush... not so bad... wanna make it better

Okay two of my trays i cleaned the shroomies off... i just made up some more casing layer to fill in.. once that is done should i just mist or should i dunk the casings??? i never had dunked before ... is there a guide or an easy explination???? thanks or can someone tell me step by step the correct way to dunk???

It's all preference. I don't patch when using a casing.( i use a mono tub, so it's harvest clean{aborts}, dunk 24, lay it back in the tub and forget about it)

after you've harvested the flush, let it sit without misting for three or four days, let it rest a little. Then on the fourth or fifth day, dunk it by allowing fresh, cold water from the faucet run over slowly it for several hours. This hydrates the mycelium and the constant running water washes away any contaminates that may have landed in the casing over the last week or so.
Dunking in still water only evenly redistributes the contaminates all over your mycelium and casing. And if you dunk and immediately attempt to re-fruit it you'll see it either put off a shitty second flush or it'll just sit and wait the same amount of time drying back out all the while....
