damn, your mimosa is coming along. I Remember you posted not too long ago, and it they were so much smaller.

Is the big bushy plant in your second post a more mature mimosa?

And how is the grafting method for the cacti you have in the second picture at the bottom with the grafts all along the sides working? Do you notice any faster growth?

Damn do i envy your growing space. :mad:

yep the Mimosa's are almost a few feet tall now.
Th big bushy one is a 2 year old Acacia Dealbata. Not an entheo but good practice for growing Acacia and Mimosa :cool:
  I havent noticed any faster growth with Octavius yet but I have a few more to add in yet.  The older ones are solidly in there so thats a good sign.  I imagine I will see a difference in about 6 months or so though.
  thanks man :cool::thumbup:

what would you consider the minimum length of a tip cutting that is feasible to put in a pot?

probably not but you will get more than just planting upright and you wont have to deal with callousing and rooting so many sections.

i feel your pain, man.
asking for a replacement would not be unreasonable, especially on the Terscheckii, that's a big purchase. and if you got it where i'm thinking you did, i would expect that they'd step up.

update....
well the new batch of 10 kilos oddball Pedros have spine puncture wounds all over them from shipping. they are slowly turing into black weeping rot and I have to cut sections of ribs off.
the one in the top pic has many punctures on other ribs that you cant see that also are turning into the black death. a am close to losing the whole batch
..............

sounds to me like the oddball deal should come with a disclaimer "Perishable, Not for planting purposes".  :pirate:    j/k  thanks for sharing, cpw...i'm sure a lot of people will appreciate having an idea of just what to expect from that deal.

if it doesn't rot, it should live. i've seen them completely deflate and then plump back out very soon after watering is resumed.
