First-Time Question

hey guys, long-time lurker and first-time poster here
over the past couple months i have been planning for my first attempt at a grow. i am planning on learning the basics with the PF tek. the time to buckle down and go for it has come, so last night i went out and bought a pressure cooker after work. i've got bags and bags of vermiculite (for an indoor gas fireplace). i just need some jars and flour, so on the way home i stopped by both a stop and shop and a local grocery store to look for some BRF.
now this is where my question arises. thinking flour, i instinctively went to the baking sections of both supermarkets and was unable to find BRF amongst all the types of flours there. looking back on it today, i was wondering if perhaps the BRF would be somewhere in the rice section of the store? the thought didn't occur to me last night.
this leads me to my next question, if i am unable to find BRF, would any of the multiple organic non-bleached, non-bromated whole wheat flours do? the types of grain vary from wheat to barley to some weird grains i've never heard of before. i also have access to some agar that i could mix in as well.
any help is much appreciated, thanks a ton!

There's usually a specialty flour section in boutique grocery stores. You can also use rye flour, or grind up organic brown rice yourself. It's tedious, but it will work.

Another option would be to get the BR and not grind it up, I've seen this method work for few who've tried it on here. I have a grinder so I ground some up, but just to test it out, I'll be inoculating a single jar that has whole BR.

You might try asking where the gluten-free items are; forgot to mention it's often used for celiacs to substitute for wheat-based flours.
