Can someone lead me in the direction. I want to try and pull out some myc. from one of my pf jars and transfer it to LC.

#1) USE A GLOVEBOX
#2) If you don't have a glovebox...don't even mess with it.
#3) If you DO, and know how to use it:
Inside the glovebox... Open the jar, and flip the entire cake upside down on the lid. Use previously sterilized scalpel to cut a tiny piece out, and deftly move it to the LC jar while keeping it closed 9/10ths of the way yet ensuring that the extracted myc lands onto the LC surface.
Reseal the LC container quickly, and move to a warm place.
IMO, it's better to clone from a fruitbody or start an LC from a reptuable vendor syringe.

You're really not going to want to do that. Cakes aren't really sterile anyhow. You have to dump out a bunch of presumably spore-laden dry vermiculite to get to anyway.
A cake is bound to have some contaminants, and transferring to an LC is shaky at best. I wouldn't advise it. Yes, use a glovebox.

So, this is not a common practice I take it. And probably not something I want to try.----Then, I have a slow growing pf cake which I am willing to sacrifice, it's half colonized. Are there any tecs in which I can use that half colonized pf cake to inoc. something, if anything else?

No, you definitely don't. It's also worth noting that if it's growing particularly slowly, that's a sign of likely contamination or poor genetics. When you inoculate with spores, you initiate sexual reproduction that produces genetic variance; liquid cultures and mycelium transfers will duplicate genetic tratits. So you'd rather not go around using a notably slow-growing mycelium.
A better option is to take your most promising fruit of a cake, and take a core sample with a sterilized biopsy needle. The process is simple, and very shielded; you'll preserve the genetics of your best grower in perpetuity.

You could always soak the cake with a 10% bleach solution prior to doing this, to make sure there are no contams.

That would kill any mycelium it comes into contact with as well. Not a great plan.

if its a 10% mix of bleach it wouldn't hurt healthy mycelium, some people ever swear it helps.(I'm not one of them) I think there is a tek with grain where you make a lc put some in your jar and some in a syringe sterilize both, now inject your jar with the lc syringe shake a suck the liquid back out and into your lc. that will work with grain, and could work with brf cake. i would try to use a 100% colonized cake, be careful of the dry verm on the top, and birth cake after you make the lc.

It's most certainly possible. The theory behind it isn't wrong. It's just begging for contamination though; there are simpler ways to do this.
Using bleach as a substitute for clean culture (which will work just fine) isn't really a great plan.

I made my first LC successfully this way and had my first successfully bulk grow.
Now as an experienced grower, IT WAS A FLUKE!
but you could get lucky!
