Anyone found their place on earth yet?

My best friend seems to be finding his. He recently got really into astral projection and all the things of that nature. At one point I was interested in it but it's not my calling. It doesn't get me that excited. He's meeting people that are into it as well and learning new things and getting more and more excited and I'm left wondering what my calling is.

Astral projection? Your friend is a moron.

I'm not that enthused about it personally but it seems plausible enough.

could be the path for him, who knows.
whatever your purpose is, you will find it eventually fred. i'm starting to slowly get more and more moments of connectedness and understanding and one of those things i am understanding is that you can't know your path until you know yourself and are able to look at yourself honestly, both the positive and the negative.

I think I found mine. Biological Engineering. That is as far as I have gotten. I am still searching deeply for other things.

I knew a kid in middle school who claimed he astral projected himself.
doesn't it work like this...
you're sleeping and in your dreams you release your spirit into the world and you can walk around and fly around the earth, then return to your body in the morning.
isn't it along those lines?

another thing fred.
if becoming a christian means you have found yourself, would you be happy about that?
maybe you just have more sense than your friend and it won't be until later on in life that you find yourself.

i thought i liked poetry alot, and use to write alot, but ive got some bad senioritis and havent been feeling it much. just about every kind of science intrigues me, except chemistry. i love questioning things and asking "what if" or "why." but i got plenty of time to figure it out. just lettin it come naturally

i used to be able to change wind patterns as a child, but it never worked infront of other people
i also used to be able to sense objects being thrown at me from a distance with my back turned and would be able to dodge it without ever looking

one time I was in rehab and there was a girl in her room across the hall from mine and I was in my room and sitting on my bed and doing paperwork. she threw a penny into my room just messing around and without even looking up I reached up and snatched it right out of the air. she was like "holy shit how the hell did you do that?". It was the only time I ever did something like that

Kind of. Pretty much just letting myself be happy. Somehow it just clicked recently to stop worrying, stop taking everything so seriously, and just live in the moment. So far, I've been pretty damn happy and have been getting really peaceful.
And I think I'm going to be an investor of some kind. Maybe a venture capitalist or something. The corporate and/or social ladder doesn't interest me in the least.

I moved to Holland thinking I would be happier and life would be more fulfilling. It didn't work out the way I planed. I'm thinking of moving back to the states.
