what is wrong with my shrooms

okay, i have been growing these shrooms for almost two weeks... except these shrooms are alot different from my last grow 2 years ago... these mushies are not growing tall but short and fat... some of the shrooms are fatter then the cap.. a couple do not even have caps but are twice as fat as the cap... is that good or bad? cause i am starting to worry if they do not expand there cap if i should pull them or not... so far alot of my shrooms are connected not just one but three shrooms at once... so i am afraid if i pull one that all three and a nice big hole will be inolace after pulling them.. so how does one tell if a shroom is good to pick or not if it does not have a fully developed cap but have been growing for like two weeks????
my temps are 65 degrees and 100%hujmidity... is that bad????
i noticed none of my shrooms so far are not tall there all short... there are still more forming and pinning as the days go by but also, how does one know when a flush is done???? also, misting seems to help the mushies .. i have been misting every morning and when i get home i notice new ones or the same ones getting bigger... but some of the caps have opened up have not noticed any spores but once a cap opens fully it should be picked right?>

First off.. what are you fruiting them with? cakes, casing?
Temps should be 74-78. Humidity shouldn't be a problem unless mycelium is growing on the actual mushrooms. Thats the sign that it is too high.

I read somewhere that the humidity level has to be around 90% at the final stage and the temp at 74. To achieve this, you should raise the temp to around the said mark which in turn should lower your humidity a bit from the 100 to around 90's, giving you optimum conditions for growth.. So suggests the guide.. Also, 12 hours of light and good air exchange wouldn't hurt.

yes that is what mine are looking like but now they are taller there like the size of a thumb....yes there was some mycelium growing on the mushies themselves.. so i know the humidity is way to high i will have to raise the temps up ... mmm.. i have a lizard heating mat but its to small to give heat to all three casings i have... i think it is my temps that is slowing me down thats what it seems is happening with this grow.. i need heat.. lol. i will turn my heat on then.. simple..

Please don't repeat inaccurate information. Mushrooms thrive in 100% humidity. Mushrooms are also 100% composed of mycelium. That's what they are. 'Fuzz' on the stems, contrary to popular myth is NOT a problem, and is NOT caused by high humidity.
Tony, it sounds like what you have is a genetic, strain related issue.
Never heat a terrarium. Run a small heater and heat the room in which it's located. Heating a terrarium causes your humidity to turn into condensation on the walls and then your crop dries out from low humidity which IS a problem. Good luck. RR
