Believe me, you are not the only one out there feeling the way you do. There are millions of people in this world sitting on the same boat as you, and they are all searching for something worth living for. So start looking for it.. I am sure you have family and maybe a friend or two who would be devistated to find out you offed yourself, no? Are you too deeply depressed and foggy and selfish right now to realize there are people in this world that are pulling for you, and would deeply miss you if you were to go? I'll tell you one thing, this website would be very sad to hear you are gone. You've got 19,000 friggin posts here so you have clearly touched the lifes of many people here at this website alone. I know you don't want to hear it, but you have to actually fight for you life at this point, you've got to fight your way through all the madness you dispise and find a new place where you are more comfortable, because being in the position where you want to kill yourself f.cking sucks. I can vouche for that my own self personally..

You've got yourself still and that is the most important thing.
Look I'm not a psychotherapist or a drug counsler, but I have learned through life, the people I have known that killed themselves all did it out of the blue giving no-one a chance to stop them. I bet that if you truly wanted to kill yourself you wouldn't have made this topic, you would have just done it. You're scared of a lot of things I can tell. You've admitted you are scared of things that happened in the past. You're clearly scared of your present situation. And most of all you are scared for your future, which is all understandable to me. If you're hooked on hard drugs and its having a negative impact on your life than just quit. Any doctor will tell you that. And even though you say your mother disowned you, I bet every dollar I have she still loves you. She probably loves you more than you could ever comprehend.

Gonz, I'm here with you..same thoughts. Why participate in this ordeal? I reason that some universal power has granted us the gift of the human mind. At times it can be nasty, and other times I really am WOW'd. It's up to us to manipulate our perceptions for the good. The mind can be re-trained for the positive. To be ALIVE is an ongoing process and I think it helps to recognize and find sanctuary in the fact that we all have the ability to change.
The past does not exist. What we had or what we were are merely snapshots of the present, existing only in the incredible database of our present mind. It is up to us, the depressed, to take advantage of our current situation and realize that painful thoughts are only manifestations of are mind.

I've been there and thought the same things you have thought for years (from as early as I could remember).
During one trip I realized that I'm the only person in this world that can make my life worth living. If you're unhappy with how it is or the direction it's going, you have the power to change it. I agree that most of the world is garbage, and humans are shit, but that doesn't mean it has to affect my life.
I still FREQUENTLY go through spells of depression, but instead of moping about it, I try to change my life to be how I want it to be. I'm getting my debts paid, getting back to school, taking a break from psychotic women, and just enjoying my own time and doing what I want. Staind song about suicide, "was life as bad as it should seem, that there were no more options for you." Unless you are incapacitated, poor, alone, not intelligent, and overall have NO option, go ahead. Even not knowing you, I know that you have options. Drug abuser? Stop the drugs. Mom disowns you? Who gives a damn, you can't force someone to let you into their life. Do the drugs have anything to do with her disowning you? If not then what's the reason and can you change your lifestyle to be accepted by her? No friends? I doubt it. There are people here that care about you and I'm sure there are people in real life that do. If you need someone to talk to feel free to shoot me a message, I'm not a great speaker or motivator since I suffer from similar issues, but I can at least relate to you.
Suicide is a waste of a life. Make your life what you want it to be, and be the person you want to be. Nothing can stop you except yourself.

I had to move far far away from people in general to get back to being me. If you are taking any advice, get yourself to a new enviroment. It is amazing what a different point of view can do for you. Living isolated, in the mountains for me, is what makes life worth hanging on to. My little garden, my birds, my dogs, my hikes along a mountain stream. That to me, is what life is worth hanging on to. You just have to find what it is for you, and GET THERE. Life is a gift, wanted or unwanted. Why not try to make something beautiful out of it.
