HPPD

How many of you experience or used to experience symptoms relating to HPPD (Hallucinogen persisting perception disorder) after tripping?
These symptoms can include visual static, tracers, increased awareness of floaters, etc...
I tripped on shrooms a few days ago and am still experiencing some noticable and rather annoying post-tripping visuals.
I'm very interested in hearing your experiences with HPPD, as it is very common after tripping. Do the symptoms eventually go away, or...?

The way I see it, Shrooms do have after effects on the mind. Most times I've tripped on high doses, I can feel lingering effects the next day. I wouldn't call this HPPD because the problem needs to significantly effect your life to call it that. I kind of consider it normal for these things to happen, but I've never heard of this being permanent. Best advice is, don't trip more often than your psyche allows. Also, I don't consider the after effects annoying by any means. I think of it as a small trip, and just enjoy the new "randomness" that I have while looking at things.

you might want to search the forums because i know theres been a good few posts on this before. hppd is very normal and tends to reside eventually. the first few days are common especially, but if you take too much over a longer period of time it can persist for months or years. if you dont pay any visuals you get any attention, they tend to dissapear faster. don't worry about it anyways.

I honestly get these kind of symptoms even after long periods of time after doing any psych.
-------------------- At times I get consumed by my everyday life and will leave the Shroomery. Yet, every time drugs come falling into my life for fun.....I always think about the Shroomery and then I'm back!

I'll get static vision pretty bad sometimes, light backgrounds on whatever I'm looking at make it worse.
At night, I'm all but blind if I have light in my eyes, and the static's pretty bad then too, but I was mostly nightblind even before I started seeing it.

i used to get visuals before i tripped the first time if i stared at a tiled floor and concentrated. now i have hppd but i love it! rock on, whatever you do don't take any meds or go to a shrink, they can't help you for this.
edit: last night i looked up at the stars and the entire sky was spinning around. if i look at a bush/tree swaying in the wind in a low light situation it can turn into anything! makes life a little more interesting.

I think HPPD would be tight. I wouldn't mind coming down with some.

I used to get light flickers behind my eyes and straight edges would wiggle for a little while after coming down off certian things.
