Hi guys, went for a walk in some woods earlier in Cornwall, England. I've got a little experience with mushrooms, my intuition tells me i dont have anything edible per say but im told you're the people to ask!
lots of these clumped together, not very big, 5cm. not much smell
on an old tree trunk i think. small, about the size of a coin and dont smell much
growing by a rock or tree trunk, coin size!
the biggest, about palm size. they certainly smell very mushroomy! grew by the path
very dark as you can see, smell ok. bit smaller than a biscuit : D
any chance i can have something on toast tomorrow morning? cheers!

very professional photos, but if you want an id, please read the rules and do a proper request.
EDIT: number 2 looks a bit like mycena.

1) Looks like Stropharia or Hypholoma 2) Mycena sounds good. Or Marasmius. 3) Possibly the same species as # 1 4) Cortinarius or Gymnopilus 5) Psathyrella or Agaricus

I don't see any good edibles there. The photos look really nice but it would help to have a pic of them in their natural habitat too, that way we can see the substrate. Often it is necessary to know the spore print color.

cheers haymaker, photography is my thing! I'll take more of them in situ next time though. Sorry for premature post, I'll leave them over night see what happens with the spores.
When you say not good Alan, will they be bad for me or just taste bad? 1) does look like Hypholoma though mine seems darker. theye were on clump bit like this
 2) i heard mycena is edible but people just dont bother because its small. 3)could well be looking at google 4)i can see Cortinarius kinda, they any good for anything? 5)only saw a few of these, does look like Psathyrella tho mines seems darker/flatter?

The hyphlomas might be fasiculare which is quite poisonous. Don't eat any of those shrooms. Nice pics though.

Some of those are likely to be poisonous.
> i heard mycena is edible but people just dont bother because its small.
Many Mycenas contain the mycotoxin muscarine.
You may have confused it with Marasmius.
> i can see Cortinarius kinda, they any good for anything?
No.

Maybe they get like that in age, or maybe you have an Agaricus. You can tell by looking at the gill attachment.
