Let me know what you guys think. This is my first post and my first batch. I noticed this today when I was watering my cakes.

that's just the cakes bruising, usually from them being sucked dry of moisture as the cake fruits _or_ from a constant breeze being directed on that one area. totally fine..

Don't touch them. If you didn't touch them, it's moisture loss.

You should roll your cakes in vermiculite,also what I do is put wet verm in the jar lid for the cakes to sit on and suck up some extra water.

Coolmist in your set up would provide enough fae that you wouln't even have the question of bruising or trich( at least not on your first flushes) .

It's just bruising, green below the surface is still very visible but what you have there is simple bruising and even if they were green you can still eat the fruits, green mold is harmless to humans unless you are alergic to molds.

try the old qtip test... if the blue/green comes off onto the qtip when you rub it on the spot, it's greenmold, if not, it's bruising.
