    #7602341 - 11/06/07 11:55 AM (16 years, 2 months ago)

I'm looking for bands that are similar in style to Radiohead. Does anybody have some good suggestions? Thank you in advance.

well, kind of. one of my top 5 favorite bands is Porcupine Tree, which could be described as Pink Floyd meets Radiohead, although the last few albums have been a bit heavier. its progressive rock, great stuff.

I'm starting a band called satelliteradiohead. We sound like early Rustedroot, though.

That's funny I was just thinking about asking this same question. Radiohead is my favorite band. ColdPlay is Radiohead lite, or for the masses. I'm not aware of many bands that sound like them, but Muse has been mentioned to me before.

Mogwai is another good one, but they only resemble radiohead in a kind of spacey, composed way.

I love Mogwai, not really anything like radiohead, but nothing really is. Check out a band called holy fuck. They are pretty good.

Also check out these bands. You might enjoy them. They really aren't radioheadish per-say, but you might like them since you like good music, such as radiohead.

Radical Face
Luna - Album: Penthouse
Clinic
Sam Prekop
The Sea And Cake
Innaway
Darkel
Air
clientele
Pelican
Tunng
RJD2
The Shins
Pavement
cLOUDDEAD - Really trippy weird hip hop
...And you will know us by the trail of the dead - Album: So Divided
LCD Soundsystem
Caribou
Clap your hands and say yeah - Album: Brighton
Cursive - Album: The Ugly Organ
Pavement

Of course Thom Yorke's solo works. The Eraser album is really good.

Sift through all that find ones you like and ask me again for more. lol Have fun

You can find all those bands on Myspace by the way, if you would like to hear samples of the music before you go on a downloading spree.

I'm really into this Holy Fuck right now. Its pretty good stuff.
