I'm doing my first marijuana grow. And I have a blueberry cough thats doing really well. I started it in a 1 gallon pot but didn't fill the pot up all the way with soil. It has just entered vegetive growth and I figured I'd better transplant it today. But it was hardly the smoothest operation ever. Alot of the dirt was very loose and fell away. I definatly had some negetive run in's with the roots (which we growing all around the bottom of the pot). I don't see how I didn't shock this plant. I'm just worried it won't live. Anything I can do here?

1 drop of Superthrive per gallon of water and some Vitamin B1 mixed in a solution and water thoroughly. If you don't have those, you're just going to have to wait. Once you've got it in the new container, water once, thoroughly til saturated, and Don't water again for at least a couple of days. You want at least an inch of the top part of the soil dry before you water again.
What are your temps? Lights? Soil/Hydro?
With a little patience and love, I can almost promise your plant will make it's way through the transplant shock. It happens to us all. Just make sure you give it a good week to resume normal, vegetative growth.

it should be ok I have used ebb and flow hydro systems and with those the roots get all kinds of abuse and they turn out fine. I even transplanted from ebb and flow into soil before with no shock.

yep, MJ plants are pretty hardcore, u have to give them some serious abuse to really shock them IME
i doubt this transplant will do a great deal of harm.

What? Unless you're regrowing a plant, it was already in the vegetive stage...
Also, like the others said, it's pretty hard to shock a MJ plant.
HOWEVER - transplanting too far into the budding cycle will kill a plant.

Thanks for the kind support. It hasn't withered up and died yet. In fact the leaves aren't even sagging. So I think it's definatly gonna be just dandy. But I guess lesson learn. Transplant sooner. Or just use a big pot from the beginning

too big of a pot at the start will lead to root rot because the plant cant take up the water and the soil stays wet.

yup, same here, transplanted right in the middle of my flowering stage and my plants made it. Definitely not good for them, but they'll survive.
