Are some cubensis more heat tolerant than others?

I am posting this question for a friend of mine,
His fruiting chamber stays between 80-83 degrees.
Are there any strains that would favor these conditions more so than others?

no but it will go just fine at those temps so dun worry. never but just do not go over 100, but it got over 100 during a summer and had no ill effects on my cubes.

All cubensis will tolerate those temperatures as they are a subtropic species however most people have reported ideal growth when the fruiting chamber is kept in the 75-78(F) range. I'm on the other side of that spectrum keeping my fruiting chamber between 68-72(F) most of the time. Somewhat less than ideal but still within tolerances.
The biggest problem with higher temps are...
- - more contaminates flourish at higher temperatures as well
- - higher temperatures can contribute to hollow stalks on fruits as they grow very quickly from pins to mature fruits...
It's also harder to keep the humidity between 90-100% @ 83(F) than it is at 75(F) because the air can hold more water vapor before becoming saturated.

Mushrooms grow more quickly at higher temps, but there is no doubt that they are denser and more potent when fruited at a lower temperature. RR

there has to be a million posts on keeping it below 80 or so during colonization .. and lower during fruiting
yeah I think RR knows his stuff listen to him .. I tried a lower temp in fruiting once and they bruised blue in a bad way ..the same strain at a warmer temp didn't bruise blue nearly as much when handled try reading more than leaving bad ratings for no reason
