If you shake it up really well, you shouldnt need much at all. I wouldnt go any more than 1 cc per jar, but you can get away with less than that.

Typically I aim for 1 CC per pint jar and 2 CC's per quart jar (when doing grains). This is split up equally between four inoculation ports/injection-points equally spaced along the edge glass inside the jars...
**Remember** - For PF style jars it's important to push the needle down past the dry vermiculite barrier before injection your spore solution into the substrate. And flame sterilize the needle until it's red-hot between each injection...the first few pico-liters of solution that flows through the hot tip will cool it down so there's no need to wait for it to cool.

i've heard of people doing half cc's just make sure you get a spore in there....if you do that and shake good you can pull it off

Never shake your grains (can't really shake a pf-styled jar) after inoculation as it's very counter-productive. You want each one of those injections of spore solution to rest right where they were deposited so they can germinate and make their first reproductive connections with other compatible spores.
