hello everyone. I am new to this board as well as mushrooms altogether. I live kind of on a foothill of sorts, I gathered some mushrooms the other day, it being my first time I didnt take very many precautions. or something. I thought I'd get a feel for ID requesting and hunting. so this is more or less just a practice run. anyways here are the species I gathered.

Habitat-pacific northwest (washington), forested area, trees were cleared out about 4 years ago so theres just small plants and bushes. and dead trees and branches.
Gills-sand colored, attached? not sure how to tell if attached or not.
Stem-2-3 inches long caramel whiteish. half a centimeter in diameter.
cap- darker brown, somewhat convex, two centimeters in diameter.
spore print- golden brown.
bruise color- a darker brown.

Habitat-I found all of these mushrooms in the same general area.
gills- kind of a dark purplish gray.
stem- 3-4 inches long, 1 centimeter in diameter, bone white.
Cap- white, flat(neither convex or concave) had white soft stuff hanging off the side when I found it.
spore print- black? dark purple maybe.
I cant tell the color it bruises.
 Habitat-asdjkf
gills- white beige-ish.
stem-white, 2-3 inches long, 1/4th inch diameter.
cap- brown knob on tip white everywhere else, convex, seems to split on the edges, diameter varies.
spore print-almost like a strawberry blonde color. or light brown.

Habitat I found alot of these growing out of dead wood.
Gills- white and plentiful.
stem- redish brown towards the ground, getting neon yellow as it reaches the cap. about 3-4 inches long.
cap- starting out orange in the middle as it reaches the edges becoming more greenish blue. convex, about 1-2 inches in diameter.
spore print-looks dark red or purple.
bruise-cant place the bruises.
thats all Ive got so far. any help Identifying would be cool. just trying to figure if there are any active shrooms in my area.

#1 - Cortinarius perhaps. Otherwise Hebeloma or Inocybe.
#2 - Agrocybe or Stropharia.
#3 - Inocybe.
#4 - Hypholoma fasciculare, aka Sulfur Tufts.

good first ID request... congratulations. You should print on white paper as well, to get a better idea of the color. Or you can print on clear plastic and use light and dark paper underneath to see the spore print.
I'm not positive on the IDs of these mushrooms, but from what I can tell, none are active and at least two are probably toxic. The top ones look like galerina or conocybe, the second a Stropharia or Agaricus, third not sure... maybe inocybe, and fourth is similar to ones I've seen in grass while hunting subbs but have never ID'd.

It would help if you had a idea what you were looking for before posting again!
Search through the forum and gain some more knowledge, there is plenty of information to read up on.

while we don't mind IDing random mushrooms, you may get discouraged quickly if you start picking everything you find... many mushrooms are just hard to ID, and it's kinda tedious doing spore prints on mushrooms just to find out that they're toxic or unidentifiable.
Being a relatively new hunter myself, I have learned that the best way to find mushrooms that I'm interested in finding is to research their habitat and climatic conditions, and search at the appropriate times and places in order to find them. That isn't to say that I don't investigate random finds, but I do tend to look for specific species when I go out hunting.
I don't mean to discourage you at all. I think you need to try and ID as many mushrooms as possible, so that you know them the next time you see them, and will know to leave them alone or gather them up. A field guide will help in this regard.

dont worry im not discouraged, i appreciate your words of knowledge. i will take into consideration your advice and have one more random shroom which grew with the sulfur tufts maybe you could ID.

Habitat-near newly growing firs, and dead branches and trees. as well as in fern like areas.
Stem-2-3 inches long, 3 mm in diameter, white.
gills- white.
Cap- convex, Brown towards the top, whiter in the middle, and then looks as though stained with ink around the edge.
spore print- red brown.
I thought these kind of looked like liberty caps but unsure. theres a quarter in between the shrooms to help figure out the size. but its shining too bright to see.

The last species you posted is probably in the genus Cortinarius.

yeah, it's wise to print them on white, if the spore are dark.
