Brazilians are one of (if not THE) fastest colonizing cubensis strain out there. You should see growth soon. You should really try at least two holes, or even four for faster colonization. Injecting it straight into the middle will make it colonize the middle first, which os probably why you haven't seen much if any growth. Just make sure you split up the amount you are going to inject (usually around 1cc per jar) evenly into each hole and try to release it against the inside wall of the jar. Also, make sure to use some micropore tape or foil to cover the holes. Good luck to ya!

Generally speaking, we try to aim for four 3/8" or small injection ports through the lids of our spawn jars when working with grains or cakes. Remember these holes are not only designed to provide a way "in" for inoculations but also a means for gas-exchange for the newly colonizing mycelium you've begun cultivating. Another reason we use four injection ports is because it's often a lot easier to observe the colonization process if you inject your inoculate / spore-solution along the sides of the glass rather than down the center. Inoculating in the center may take a couple weeks before you can visually observe any signs of colonization/contamination.
Don't over do it though because too many or too large of an opening becomes counter-productive because it will allow too much internal moisture to be lost from evaporation.
---- You don't need any foil or micro-pore tape over the top of a PF-Styled jar because the dry layer of vermiculite on top is your contaminate barrier and anything else only further restricts the gas-exchange.

If stuff is turning any color other white (which can still be a contam in some cases) it's more than likely contaminated.
If it turns out to be black mold after a few more days, don't open it. Either throw the jar away, or PC it for 30 or 45 minutes, take it outside, and empty it out while you hold a trash bag around the mouth of the jar. Set your jar and lid down, tie the bag up, and then put it in another bag.
It's a lot easier to just throw them out, and you take less risk of exposing yourself to black mold, which can be extremely hazardous to you health.
