Thinkers. Dreamers. Believers.
Doesn't get any better than this. This is it, this is what we are.
We try so hard to change things not knowing that things don't need to be changed. The only changing you can do is inner change, which shows in the way you act and how you show yourself. You think before you act, instead of acting out of instinct. Then you are a thinker.
Always thinking positive, being optimistic, thinking of becoming. Part of this world is a dream. Not necessarily a literal dream but in your mind you wish for things to become, to do, etc. Then you are a dreamer.

Yes everything would seem dreamy, great, there you would be floating in a positive cloud...then your reverie would be broken by the cries of the people butchered, raped, run over, etc...wake up man.
Yesterday i watched this movie "Hostel II." Well i have watched many movies like this, but now my tolerance level has reached its limit..it was such an utterly gruesome movie. I just don't know what the fuck the writer was thinking when he wrote the script.
Mere goody-goody feelings would not suffice.

Don't say that I will depart tomorrow- even today I am still arriving. Look deeply: every second I am arriving to be a bud on a Spring branch, to be a tiny bird, with still-fragile wings, learning to sing in my new nest, to be a caterpillar in the heart of a flower, to be a jewel hiding itself in a stone.
I still arrive, in order to laugh and to cry, to fear and to hope. The rhythm of my heart is the birth and death of all that is alive. I am a mayfly metamorphosing on the surface of the river. And I am the bird that swoops down to swallow the mayfly. I am a frog swimming happily in the clear water of a pond. And I am the grass-snake that silently feeds itself on the frog.
I am the child in Uganda, all skin and bones, my legs as thin a bamboo sticks. And I am the arms merchant, selling deadly weapons to Uganda. I am the twelve-year-old girl, refugee on a small boat, who throws herself into the ocean after being raped by a sea pirate. And I am the pirate, my heart not yet capable of seeing and loving.
My joy is like Spring, so warm it makes flowers bloom all over the Earth. My pain is like a river of tears, so vast it fills the four oceans.
Please call me by my true names, so I can hear all my cries and laughter at once, so I can see that my joy and pain are one.
Please call me by my true names, so I can wake up and the door of my heart could be left open, the door of compassion.

Great video.
I have been contemplating something that was stated near the end, regarding speaking up for injustice, or something similar, even if doing so will threaten your own security and safety.
Earlier, it had said to not seek to control others, through any means... Makes sense. People should form their own conclusions. I don't quite understand, however, if we are presented in a situation, or are aware of a situation that is entirely beyond our realm of direct influence, how speaking up, threatening our own safety or well-being, is beneficial towards alleviating the concern that has arisen. Perhaps being silent, being patient, and being capable of continuing to influence the course of reality to work agansit the infliction of suffering through the means that do exist, is more effective than simply standing up and getting taken out.
