where can i buy a 6500k mini florescent bulb? are they sold like everywhere or do i have to go to a special store (pet store, plant store etc)?

me if you have questions about lasers Although i may advise others in a general way regarding all types of mushroom grows, and may even post question from other forums about growing "active" mushrooms, i only grow non-"active" mushrooms and edibles. FeelFamily resident tech guru

Lowe's has them.
they're called Daylight bulbs.
blue package.
with all the other fluorescent bulbs.

I get mine from bulbs.com, they were the cheapest purveyor of rare and exotic fluorescents. In my case I needed a 24" F17T8 bulb that had a 6500K (daylight) color temperature.
Remember you have to match the ballast type T8/T12/etc. as well as the wattage F17/F18/F32 of your bulbs to your ballast or you'll create a serious fire-harzard. You can't put an F24T8 in an 18 watt ballast, even if it fits... bad mojo-jojo there...

i found one at bulbs.com.. i need one thats a MINI mini florecent (incandecent replacement)

oh...
a light bulb sized one...
not sure.
I just use either 2 foot of 4 foot tubes.
the ballast for the 2 foot one costs $7. the ballast for the double 4 foot one costs $9.
quite cheap if you ask me. worth it.
