facial flushing/blushing

i've noticed this a lot now. if i get ready to hang out with someone, or get ready to go somewhere where i don't feel completely comfortable with (which is basically always), my face starts getting really hot and really red. and i think it's from anxiety. because the only time it gets like this is when i am feeling anxious. it's embarassing though, because i'm pretty sure other people can see how red my face gets. maybe they think it's normal because i always have anxiety with these certain people? it's horribly annoying though and i wish i knew a remedy.
it's like my body is trying to find new ways to make me feel even more miserable than i already do with anxiety. first it was sweaty palms. then shaky. now facial flushing. wtfffff i can't tell which one i would have rather had. i guess sweaty palms. come back sweaty palms so you can take place of this terrible facial flushing!
help plz?

the symptoms (atleast sweating more and getting flused red) are signs of the activation of the sympathetic nervous system being activated, the fight or flight response, adrenaline flowing. Do you get enough exercise? Why are you going and haning out with people you dont feel comfortable around? Whats making you feel uncomfortable?

Everyone is equal,, you are beautiful and you have every right to exist as much as anyone else does.
Hold your head up high and don't put yourself down.
Sounds easier said than done but i used to have bad social anxiety until i realized all that.. I don't even have a problem being stoned around people anymore,, i just am what i am..
Being anxious made my anxiety worse,, then i just let it go because i realized there wasn't any need for it.
Good luck,, .

i strongly believe the body is a reflection of the being, f.e. people who know you can read your moods. your body is working together with you, not against. maybe cause your body knows these situations stress you out, it is looking for ways to make it obvious to you
don't like were you're going; don't go don't like who you're meeting, don't meet them
do you appreciate your body? believe it or not, it is perfect for you. i can not imagine my life without sports anymore. i just love martial arts, reaching new hights, running in the forest, sweating and then showering, a good stretching, natural highs, not to mention the awareness it brings along; nutrition, self-love, acceptance, planning, healing... but getting off-topic
find exactly what, when or who makes you blush. change the situation in a way you will feel comfortable. maybe it's your appearance, maybe you have a huge secret, who knows??? you perhaps...
greetings and all the best

You're not alone woman!
Exercise, meditation, positive thinking, as well as the other points mentioned are all good. I haven't found a total fix as of yet, but I have definitely improved my situation by leaps and bounds. Type in social anxiety into youtube.com and there are a lot of different videos of people talking about their own social anxiety and ways they have gone about reconciling it.

definitely not rosacea. i've looked it up before. and it's not that.
i avoid people like mad. i avoid social situations and make up excuses or don't answer my phone. i think too much.
what sucks though, is the only thing i want to do is travel and photograph. i have not found anyone that has the same travelling interests as i do (taking time off from school to travel). and i'm too afraid to travel alone, because i don't think that i'd be able to get out there or know what to do because i'd be too anxious to talk to anyone or go anywhere. sure, travelling solo would be an AMAZING life changing experience. but i don't think icould do it.
i stopped smoking pot. because now, i just get exteremely shaky and my face feels like it's burning. this is an old post. but i've still go the same anxiety.
but i have been wanting to take time off from school for years now, and i'm about to talk to my dad about that next weekend when he comes to visit. i know it won't go well. i know he will be closeminded about it. but it's something i need. but before i work full time, i reallyw ant to travel a little.
