Hey. I found these growing under a tree in some damp clay/dirt. I live about 1000ft from the ocean in southern california. I was just wondering if anyone knows what they are?

You've just found the 1000ft-from-the-california-coast-line-I-dont-read-the-rules-before-posting-mushroom!

Its so rare, that it was considered extinct!
