How do you keep stable temperature for your fruiting chambers?

How do you keep a stable temperature in your fruiting chamber?

I'm thinking about getting 2 reptile heating mats and sticking them to the bottom of my plastic fruiting chamber. I didn't drill holes on the bottom just for that reason. Good idea or nay? im hoping for the stable 75 degrees

Buy a heating thermostat. They can obtained from hydroponics stores, or certain pet shops. Set your temperature, plug in your heat source, and walk away.

space heater, keep thermostat at constant temp (pricey though), or heat bomb

A. whats a heating bomb
B. I have a space heater with built in thermostat
However, the when the heater is on (even the low setting) it is blowing REALLY hot air. That can't be good for the cakes.

I want something much more consistent like a reptile heating mat, but they are expensive and i wonder how warm they could make a fruiting chamber in a pretty cold area.

Is that what gringo meant by getting a thermostat?

Trust me, there is no need for additional heat if you keep your place around 70 degrees, heat bombs and aquarium heaters are dangerous and not needed.

If your FC room is really cold, look into a small space heater to keep it around 70-75.

the room is usually 70 degrees... but at night/ morning its really really cold... does that matter at all if its cold at night since outdoors it would naturally be colder at night as well?

I wouldn't worry about variations in temperature too much as long as it stays above 50, and is generally around 70 degrees F.
