Liberty Caps, and the ones I get mixed up with

Hi folks,
Love this forum! I've just been out to my old patches after a few years of living away. Last time I went I found a good stash, I kept them for ages and when I did take them they didn't seem as potent as the years when I'd done them before. I wondered if it was because of their age (about a year old when I did them!) or maybe because I had some "imposters" mixed in. I gathered all these mushrooms today, the weather has been fine ~10 degrees C and hasn't rained for a while here now.
Anyway I tried to take a few pics to get some advice from the pros. The first pic is the ones I'm pretty certain are liberty caps,
Habitat: Growing on open pasture land, plenty of cow dung around, in the north of England
Cap: Classical conical shape and colour, with pointy nipple
Gills: Dark Brown
Stem: Soft white wavy stems and even a bit of blue bruising
Spore print: Not done for these...it's the other ones that follow I'm asking about!

The second pic is the ones I'm not too sure about,
Habitat: The same pasture land as the previous lot
Cap: the caps tend to be much rounder (ie not pointy!) with no real 'nipple' (though they do have a darker coloured nipple...just not a raised nipple if you know what I mean)
Gills: dark brown
Stem: much straighter stems (some more brown than white, also felt more 'greasy' than usual when picking them.
Spore Print: The spore print was dark, but just looked balck to me (should be purple for liberty cap I think, maybe I'm colour blind!)

A close up.

Previously I have always eaten the whole lot, so if they are not liberty caps then they certainly aren't dangerous. I just wondered if anyone knew what they are!
Cheers guys, S

the ones without nipples could possibly be p. strictipes, or just abnormal libs...

They just look like abnormal liberty caps to me. Don't take my opinion as anything but, those psilocybe semilanceata doesn't grow in my area, and I'm no expert on them.

It is poor form to eat unidentified mushrooms. I usually go as far as telling people theyre idiots for coming into this forum saying they are eating mushrooms they are not sure about. There should probably be a rule that allows moderators to lock any topic with people admiting to such a dangerous practice. But then we have had some close calls when people post back to us letting us know if their condition has improved or not.. In the main page of the forums at the shroomery, you should notice that for the Mushroom Hunting forum it says in bold letters unidentified mushrooms should never be consumed.. The number one rule for hunting wild mushrooms is to never eat anything you are not positive is safe to eat. And still, some people have allergic reactions to "safe" mushrooms they have never tried before. Eat whatever you want I guess if you are that desperate to have a psychedelic experience, but don't come to this forum talking about eating unknowns. We do not appreciate it here.

IS anyone else tired of these people telling us what to eat and what not to it. I believe it was the atoundingly wise Eric Cartman that said "Whatever, I'll Do What I Want"

This thread has been closed.
Reason: That is a very ignorant take on the serious matter of eating wild mushrooms.
This thread is also over a year old, so I am going to lock it. Please comment respectfully in currently active threads.
