white patch after dunk

so these cakes are on they're 3rd flush (hopefully) i gave them all a 24 hr dunk and now after being in the fc for a couple of days this one has this big patch on the one side. is this contamed???

It looks like it is starting to turn green so that could be the early stage of trich. Just watch it and see if its bruising on mycelium but if it does turn or is already green throw it out asap.

Agreed. That doesn't look good. If you've already had two flushes, I'd get rid of it, or at least put it in isolation. RR

Could that not be "fluffy white mycelium". you are scaring me. All my cakes ( as in everyone I have ever had and fruited very successfully) are covered in what looks like that too me after sitting in my pmp for a bit. Could dunk have washed off the "roll"? I dont see green myself but maybe thats the resolution.

That growth looks different to me then mycelium. When you encounter a green mold which you will most likely do eventually you will probably be able to see the difference.
Trich mycelium looks less dense then cube mycelium and there is slight greening in that pic if you look closely. Also trich mycelium tends to look like a lot of little specks around the outer rim of what it is infecting.
