    #7592828 - 11/03/07 10:23 PM (16 years, 4 months ago)

Has any one ever had success using just Tyvek for lids, kind of like filter discs?

Could I inoculate threw the Tyvek either with or with out a dab of silicone?

just screw the metal band around it.. i did it on accident. kinda was in a rush.. and forgot the lid part.. everything still colonized just find though.. but i like the stability the lid adds.. with just tyvek it just doesnt seem trustworthy

You can tape all but a small part of the tyvek with duct tape to prevent drying out.
