Stalled PF-Tek Jars Ecuador Verm+BRF

This is my first grow and I used the verm+BRF substrate. Once inoculated they colonized good after a couple days and continued to spread for about a week. For this last week it hasn't noticeably spread (inoculated on Oct 13). There are 2 shades of white, I'm not sure if it is contaminations. I had aluminum foil lids on covering the holes in the jar lid, but removed that recently to get more gas exchange.
I am using Ecuador spores, which I read are not fast colonizers. Has anyone had experience with this?
Have I fallen to contamination? There is still some condensation on the jar so I don't think it has to do with moisture.

Those do not look very healthy,, the 2nd pic looks like some sort of contaminaton, on the other pics it looks like the myc is surounded by some sort of contam.
Its not looking to good, I had an EQ grow not to long ago, colinisation seemed fairly standard.

No once they are contaminate, the myc will not colinise the rest of the substrate, the contamination will more than likely take over the rest of teh substrate.
Contaminated jars will probably never fruit and even if it did, u would not want to eat the fruits that are likely covered in bacteria and mould.
If it was already 100% colinised and had been birthed and had started fruiting before it became contaminated you could harvest and bin the cake, but since its contammed so early theres no chance it will fruit.
Feel free to wait around another day and get some more opinions, but i say they do not look to healty

The pictures arent worth giving an opinion for. But alot of my mycelium is sometimes thicker, and sometimes whispy. The out of focused picture, seems like Rhiz Mycel.

definitely contamination 100% sure of that. That cobweb looking stuff is black mold. It should start to sporulate in the next 2 to 3 days. Toss them. They are trash. I have waited out too many times just to see what kind of contamination it would be. There was a time where every jar I made looked just like that. Funny, but now that I think about it, it only happened to my BRF cakes. Hmmm.

As everyone else said, that's contamination for sure. Tough luck.

how long have ur jars been stalled for before u took the foil off the lids.
This same thing happened to me (i can even show pictures if i can find my camera) my jars stalled and the myc got less and less white. Then after i removed the foil new myc started colonizing over the old and the new stuff is much much whiter.

I removed the foil yesterday.
If this happens often on BRF cakes, what do you suggest using instead?

if it was only removed yesterday i don't think it's the same problem. The myc wouldn't have had time to start up again and recolonize over the old myc.. your pictures look extremely similar to mine tho...

Since i have removed the foil and put the jars in a warmer place, there has been a lot more water condensation on the jars.
