Casing supply question.
    #7590923 - 11/03/07 12:32 PM (16 years, 2 months ago)

For six half pint pf jars being cased in 50/50 peat/verm what would be a good dimension for the tray to case in i have a garden tray right now that is a little under 3in deep but im pretty sure it isnt deep enough. so if specific depth cannot be given as to the casing what would the right depths of the substrate/colonized cake crumbles/casing be?

I like to use kitty litter trays. Theyre solid so theres less chance of side pinning, plus theyre deep enfough to give you room for 2-3" of substrate and 1/2-3/4" of casing.
