The darker one is probably Trametes odora and the lighter one is Trametes sauveolens. I think aldehydes are responsible for the smell, though both mushrooms probably contain polysaccharides.

some polysaccharides.can be medicinal , many poliporus meaning mushrroms with pores not the genus, have polysaccharides, as ganoderma, , maytake,trametes versicolor have trametano and cresina
anti cancer propieties, fomes have also many , in shitake also many wood eater mushrroms have polisacharides, this one have lentinan,emitamina,Ac2p,
all my best in my experience all this substance are in study an proving that can work for cancer and many problems ,
