It is great to see politicians like Ron Paul reach more people on a national front like this, especially considering the ramifications of the proliferation of the ideas that he represents. I see a similarity between this, and how, recently, sustainable energy and environmental policies have become more prominent, and the government is beginning to act, but, most importantly, the free market is seeking more and more innovation in terms of sustainable energy and environmentally-friendly energy...
Of course, it would be terrific to see Ron Paul actually win the presidental election, but I think it just isn't going to happen, and this isn't a self-fufilling prophecy. Observing his donation goals for tomorrow, as well as by the end of the year, it looks like he'll be falling far short. I see a lot of change occuring in this country, a lot of awareness that is arising, but change isn't occuring quick enough for it to take Ron Paul with it to the presidental office.
I'd love to be proven wrong; I'd fully embrace it, and I'd love for anyone more knowledgeable on the subject to speak up and put me in my place. It just seems to me, though, that the manners in which he campaigns are very consistent with the ways I'd assume he has always campaigned for his congressional seat. The fact that he's received so much self-motivated support acrossed the nation is very inspiring, but I think he simply hasn't ran a presidental campaign as effectively as he would no doubt be capable of, without having to change who he is or sell himself out in the slightest, and it just seems like time is too short for that.
The way I'm seeing it, the Christian right is still pretty powerful, but they don't have anyone that suits them as a representative, and they've been talking about going for a third-party candidate. Ron Paul seems like the perfect representative for them in terms of morals, not really sure what their agenda would be beyond abortion, which he could clearly say would be left for the states, and that would empower them to have at it, but he simply doesn't seem to have campaigned towards them.
With this Clinton lesbian scandal set to drop (apparently ), their moral outrage could have really pushed him forward to contend with her. They are leery of Giluani. Sure, he could represent them as a third-party candidate, but the odds would be stacked even more greatly agansit him then.

If I should die this very moment I wouldn't fear For I've never known completeness Like being here Wrapped in the warmth of you Loving every breath of you
