Curiosity might kill me and the cat
    #7587381 - 11/02/07 11:20 AM (16 years, 2 months ago)

I went hardcore trippin last weekend and when i returned to reality i remembered having an extremely vivid thought regarding death. I remember being so curious about what lies after death, that I was considering suicide (I'm totally happy, non depressed, very sane) so that I could go see what was next. Now that I think about it it seems scary considering the how serious I was about the idea.

when i was a very very young child in school a conversation about death came up and it really impacted me. as it was probly the first conversation I had had about the subject.. Later that day I told my mom that I wanted to die, and wondered what could or would happen..

Needless to say my mom freaked and bitched out the teacher (and me to some extent) . I didnt want to kill myself just see the other side. nnDMT can be a good teacher with this subject, I dont suggest it though.

A wise man once said DMT was as close to death as you can get and come back to tell about it...

i understand your curiosity, and share it to a certain extent. the way i see it though, is there is no need to rush it. it will happen eventually, this i can count on.

Exactly. I think we are all curious to an extent, but I'm in no rush to find out the details.

To me, it would seem disrespectful to kill yourself. We are given everything in this world, thoughts, feelings, opportunities. Join the Army, might speed up your process! Thinking about death isnt bad, its quite natural..

Many is the day that I've thought about what comes after death, I'm never going to kill myself, but I look forward to the day I die. I'm also going to enjoy the hell out of life in the meantime. I just wish everyone else could see it that way. Acid for all!:psychsplit:

Not really, if there's nothing, how would I know? There is quite literally nothing. Now think about that, absolute complete nothingness, Not experiencing anything, not thinking anything, not even darkness, not even nothingness. That's a thought.

The first mushroom trip I had I thought about that same thing. Looking back on it, it wouldn't have really mattered if I died though. The thought of there being nothing after death gives me peace, it makes me wanna live life to the fullest. And when I die I won't have any problems or worries, it sounds good to me.

There's no such thing as death...

When you die, it's just like waking up from a dream.

Awesome feedback, the curiosity not necessarily with death, but with what lies beyond it that has recently been the focus of many a trip

dont feel bad about thinking about death, the only thing that makes you feel that way is just morals imposed on you by society. its not bad to think about death society just frowns upon it, its just natural.

Its not like we haven't experienced it before. There was an eternity of nothingness before you were born, and in my opinion there will probably be an eternity of nothingness after you are born.

I've always thought its pointless to talk about what happens after you die. For me, life is eternity.
