Actually, a rule of thumb is that the larger (older) the mushroom, the lower its RELATIVE psilocybin content. Of course, the larger the mushroom, the more TOTAL psilocybin ...

That is to say... the PERCENTAGE of psilocybin per mushroom weight decreaces as it ages, and bakes in the sun and sops in the rain and such... but a big old mushroom will have more shroomy goodness within it's walls simply by virtue of its overall size -
