Question for Roger Rabbit

I keep getting different thoughts from people when i ask concerning the long-term effects of repeated mushroom trips.
So i'm asking the man himself, Is it safe to do this substance 4 to 5 times a month, without having to worry about any kinds of problems with my brain.
Ty.

"Psilocybin is relatively safe – significantly safer, in fact, than the drug Grob had initially sought to use for the study, MDMA (otherwise known as Ecstasy); according to most research, you'd have to ingest your own body weight in "magic mushrooms" to poison yourself"

Most experienced psychonauts trip no more than two or three times per year. I do it even less than that, perhaps once per year. Mushrooms are an experience, not a party drug. I'd say eating mushrooms as much as you are asking is not going to be a positive experience for your psyche, even if it doesn't harm your body or brain.
I'll move this to the PE forum. RR

I agree. I trip a few times a year. I always do it once at a safe outdoor event with lots of people i trust, once alone at home, once with a trip buddy and a babysitter, and once just for fun. I find that thats enough for my whole year.. i plan the trips out ahead of time and always have a good time.. once every 2-3 months is plenty...
As roger said its not bad for your body, but bad for your psyche. HOWEVER if i lived on a farm and was rich, i might trip more often...

I hear a lot of people say mushrooms are not a party drug.
...I'm gonna start a different thread on this. don't want to hijack.

theres Shamans who have eaten Peyote every day for 40 years. if anything their psyche was strengthened. I would say that shrooms are the same. unless you have an underlying mental condition and if thats the case I would go see a shaman.
and BTW I find even low doses of mushrooms to be better when home in bed. the CEV's are great that way

Being able to cultivate and being an expert on the effects of mushrooms are two completely different realms. Your question should have been openly asked to the community, not to a specific member. This is the reason we have PMs. In the future, please address individuals individually.
There is plenty of discussion in this forum that deals with the long-term effects of mushroom ingestion, so I will be closing this thread. Please do a search before posting these types of questions. Thank you for your understanding.
